we all float on

Everyday,
To make myself feel bad
There’s a chance
I’ll start to wonder
If this was the thing to do

Thought I would share this story. Not everyone sucks!

So, when I have nothing to do at night, one of my best friends works at Dunkin Donuts and he always makes me free drinks and hands out free food. They have a regular that comes in that rides his bike everywhere, I’ve seen him riding atleast 4 or 5 miles away from DD. He usually hangs out there when he gets out of work and just sits at the table for a few hours until he decides to leave. I don’t know if he has a home of his own or anything, and I’ve never really talked to him besides saying hello in passing. The other night, I went outside to smoke with a couple other people in the parking lot, and me being the little paranoid freak I am, I was worried about my eyes being bloodshot. I asked my friend if he had any eye drops and he went out of his way to embarrass me and call me a little stoner in front of everyone in the store (I knew everyone there so it wasn’t too embarrassing) The guy (Mike) got up and left for a little while which isn’t really unusual. About 20 minutes later, he comes back into the store and hands me a bottle of brand new eye drops! He went across the street to Kinney Drugs and bought me eye drops with his own money. I had tears in my eyes. I had to leave the room because that was the most kind hearted thing ANYONE has ever done for me.

As a Muslim, I’m sick of people asking me how I feel about 9/11. What do you want me to say, seriously?

Do you want me to say, “It was a great plan, mwahahaha!” before I fly off on a magic carpet?

I was born and raised in this country and was just as shocked as everyone else to learn there were people on this earth so vile as to commit such a horrific attack - or to even think about doing it.

But I didn’t do it. Neither did 99.999999999 percent of the roughly 1.5 billion people in the world who also call themselves Muslims. So why should I or any other Muslim apologize for what happened?

Nickleback is planning on releasing another album. Should I ask white people to apologize for that?
